SLÁVNOSTNÁ INAUGURÁCIA ZO DŇA 28.05.2018 - VIAC INFO TU
Našim cieľom je zvýšiť informovanosť o dôležitosti čítania deťom nahlas v krajinách V4. Chceme ho propagovať prostredníctvom projektu určeného pre rodičov, školy, knižnice či rodinné centrá. V rámci projektu budeme organizovať a propagovať 4. Týždeň čítania deťom v SR, ktorý sa zameria na detskú literatúru. Týždeň čítania deťom v rámci projektu Vyšehrad číta deťom sa uskutoční od 4. do 10. júna 2018. Slávnostná inaugurácia prebehne 28. 5. v Prahe.
Súčasťou týždňa budú akcie najrôznejšieho typu, medzigeneračné aktivity, stretnutia so spisovateľmi či malé dielne pre deti a rodičov. Tieto činnosti vytvoria základňu pre medzinárodnú sieť zameranú na problematiku čítania deťom nahlas. Nadobudnuté skúsenosti poslúžia k usporiadaniu ďalších ročníkov.
Projekt je spolufinancovaný vládami Českej republiky, Maďarska, Polska a Slovenska prostredníctvom Vyšehradských grantov z Medzinárodného yyšehradského fondu. Poslaním fondu je podporovať myšlienku udržania regionálnej spolupráce v strednej Európe.

The Week of Reading to Kids within the project Visegrad Reads to Kids
Our aim is to raise awareness about the importance of reading aloud amongst all four Visegrad countries. We want to promote reading aloud through campaigns amongst parents and stakeholders (schools, libraries, family centres, etc.). In the framework of the project, we will organise and promote The Week of Reading to Kids within the project Visegrad Reads to Kids which will be focused on children and children’s literature.
The ceremonial Inauguration will be held in Prague on the 28th of May. The Week of Reading to Kids within the project Visegrad Reads to Kids will take place in the first week of June 2018.
During this week there will be organised events in all four of the participating countries, including: days of reading, intergenerational activities, meetings with writers, as well as little workshops for children and parents. These activities will create a base for an international network focused on the idea of reading aloud. All experiences gained during the organisation of the event will be used in our future activities.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from the International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.

Main Project objectives:
- To motivate parents to read aloud to their kids and introduced them to books.
- To raise awareness about children’s literature from the V4 countries and about the V4 authors.
- To exchange knowhow amongst the experts in the area of education and children’s development.
- To discuss new methods and approaches in the network of the V4 partners.
- To create a network for future cooperation.
